We are thrilled to announce the opening of registration for our next Happy Birds Workshop!

Hosted at Mary Engelbreit’s Studio in St. Louis, MO June 20 - 23, 2019.

The theme of this event is Let’s Play House!

Mary Engelbreit, Jenn McGlon from Noodle and Lou, Jone Hallmark and I invite you to indulge your love of home, decoration and small worlds. We will be embellishing personal tabletop houses with crafty techniques.

Each attendee will begin with a handmade house ready to decorate! (The house is designed to fit into a mailing box for shipping home.)

There will be instruction in

creating rubber stamps for repeat designs on walls and floors
building playful furniture and accessories
painting peg dolls to live inside
stitching textiles for decorations and furnishings
paint techniques and more

Schedule:

Thursday Opening Day: Arrive at 11 am. at Mary Engelbreit’s Studio for welcome lunch and afternoon workshop. Workshop continues until 6. Dinner provided afterward at the studio.

Friday Day Two: Workshop 9-5 pm. Lunch provided at the studio. Cocktails at the home of Mary Engelbreit 6-8 pm.

Saturday Day Three: Workshop 9-5 pm. Lunch and dinner provided.

Sunday Day Four: Farewell Brunch 9-12 pm at the studio.

The studio is located in the historic Central West End of St. Louis.

Close to Forest Park, the St. Louis Art Museum and St. Louis Zoo, the studio is also steps away from shops, restaurants, galleries and a vibrant neighborhood scene. Lodging is available at local hotels in the Central West End neighborhood, Clayton and AirBnB’s throughout the St. Louis area.

What’s included:

Workshop tuition, house, materials, cocktail party at the home of Mary Engelbreit, swag bag and meals described is $1195. A non-refundable deposit of $300. is due upon confirmation of your spot. The balance is due May 1st.
