My gorgeous, glamorous, sassy, smart, funny and fun mom, Charlotte O'Keefe Matthews Manassa passed away May 4. 

The world is a different place without her. We miss her terribly, but she so deserves to be having a much better time now. She's telling stories at the party and sharing a few style tips. She's hugging babies, reading the Times, playing golf, having her beer on ice, flirting with the waiter and making new best friends everywhere she goes.

She's telling every one of us to get up! Put your lipstick on, get back out there and be somebody! 

A life well-lived with every ounce of love, grace and gumption she could muster. I was a very lucky girl to be hers.
